Prosecutor Jason Hsin-Chih Pu of the Taipei District Prosecutors Office Discusses Ma-Wang Case at USALI Weekly Lunch

On Wednesday, September 25, 2013 Professor Cohen interviewed Taiwanese Prosecutor Jason Hsin-Chih Pu on the recent case concerning President Ma Ying-jeou and Wang Jin-pyng, President of Legislative Yuan. In addition to outlining the course of events that led to Wang Jin-pyng's attempted removal from the KMT party, Prosecutor Pu discussed in great detail the structure of Taiwan's governing bodies and its historical origins.

Prosecutor Pu is a visiting scholar at the U.S.-Asia Law Institute. In Taiwan, he is a prosecutor in the Taipei District Prosecutors Office.
