“The Good Earth: Environmental Law in China” with Wang Canfa, Chinese environmental law expert

USALI Dialogue March 6, 2013: On Wednesday, March 6, please join the U.S.-Asia Law Institute for “The Good Earth: Environmental Law in China,” a discussion on aChinese NGO’s use of the law to protect victims of pollution. Wang Canfa, an environmental law expert and founder of the Center for Legal Assistance to Pollution Victims (CLAPV), will introduce CLAPV’s activities, focusing on how the NGO provides legal aid to pollution victims. In addition, he will discuss how environmental legislation, enforcement, and justice function on the mainland.
