About the Speaker

Xiaoyu (Christine) DING serves as a judge in China. Over the course of her career, Ding drafted many judicial opinions, case analyses and judgments recognized by the Supreme Court of China. Additionally, she has served as a co-author of five research projects of the Supreme Court of China, the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Ministry of Agriculture of China, and was recognized as a Candidate of Ten Influential Cases of Tianjin of 2018 with a suggestion on regulation favorably reviewed by the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of China. Her work has been published in nationally recognized journals, and she has also served as the secretary of the Adjudication Committee and in charge of legal reform, judicial research projects and the selection of guiding cases and referred cases of the court.
