U.S.-Asia Law Institute Research Scholar Chi Yin published an article, A New Era for China’s Overseas Anti-Corruption Campaign, in The Diplomat. She argues that China’s first publicly reported convictions of bribing foreign public officials sends a clear signal that Chinese courts will be more actively exercising extraterritorial jurisdiction, as encouraged by China’s recent “Foreign Related Rule of Law” effort.
